PMP-115, PMP-125, PMP-135, PMP-145 level indicators with W5DNC output
Application
Level sensors (see. picture 1), having W5DNC output are used in combination with MS-3-type signal device; The sensors are designed to control the limit levels of water in light petroleum products, oil in one or several (up to four) points in tanks with depth up to 30 meters. Might be also used with other media: food, agressive, and poisonous.
Design, principle of operation
Level sensor (see picture 2) consists of:
- from one up to four probes, each of which has one or two floats with magnet;
- guiding two-wire screened cable in fluoroplastic sheaths, connecting probes;
- Connecting muff, designed for connection of control cable of MS-3 signal device… to a guiding cable;
- housing, designed for sensor fixture on the top side of the tank.
The PCB with reed switches is placed inside the probe.
PMP operation principle is based on magnet contact state (closed or open) altering under floating magnet impact, thus, the electrical conductivity of the diode circuit is being altered: electric current may flow in both directions, in one direction or not flow at all;
Electrical conductivity altering is recorded by MS signal device, which: alters the light indication, switches the relay terminals, switches on the sound signal
