General information about power supply of devices of SENS Measurement System
Power supply for devices of SENS Measurement System (sensors and secondary devices) is provided by DC sources. Standard power supply voltage (to minimize power consumption) is 9V. However, in case of significant length line, and taking into account voltage drop, the system can be powered by 12V (most devices have power supply range from 5 to 16 V) - see “Technical specifications” of devices).

Some types of power supply units provide parallel connection to reach required output current - see table 1.
Some types of SENS Measurement System secondary devices also function as power supply units due to having built-in power supply unit, for example MS-K-500-BP-…, adapters LIN-…-12/24V (-220V), power supply and switching units BPK-…
Note: In case of using 3rd party power supply units, it is required to connect plus and “line” wires using 0,5 … 1 kOhm resistor (pull-up resistor).
